1st ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS
Dear Colleagues,
The 1st International Conference on Coastal Management and Engineering
in Middle East "ARABIAN COAST 2005" will be held in Dubai, United Arab
Emirates in 27th - 29th November 2005. Given the ambitious pace of
development projects in the region, and most particularly in the Gulf,
this Conference is aimed at bringing together international
scientists, engineers and coastal managers to discuss the latest
achievements and developments of relevance to regional coastal
management and engineering. The meeting will also provide a platform
for discussion on coastal impact problems and remedial solutions, with
case studies of relevance to the region being strongly encouraged.
There will be a particular emphasis on building collaborative linkages
between agencies, programs and professionals working in the region.
An important feature of the Conference will be the presentation of
extended key note lecturers by several internationally renowned
experts on the main conference themes. These presentations will
provide an introduction and overview of the theme, in addition to
latest findings, making the Conference suitable for attendance by
experienced practitioners as well as delegates with only limited
knowledge in coastal science, engineering and management. See
www.arabiancoast.com for more details and updates.
