REGISTRATION
Registration is by email, fax or mail. Download and complete the Registration Form, and send to: lisaumbs@umich.edu . Register by 1 September to receive the best price and a confirmation prior to the meeting.
Late registration and check-in are on September 12 from 1:00 PM-6:00 PM and 7:30 PM-8:30 PM in the front room of the Dormitory Building.
Cancellations prior to Sept. 12: housing and meal costs will be refunded, but the registration fee will not be refunded.
COSTS
Registration
Students (defined as high school through Ph.D. Candidate-no post-docs): $50
All others: $75. THESE ARE PRE-REGISTRATION COSTS. ADD $20 FOR ON-SITE REGISTRATION.
Student Support
As in years past, there is a modest amount of money available to defray the costs for students. Preference for support will be for those students making contributions to the scientific program. To apply, send your name, student status, name and contact information of your advisor, level of need, and proposed contribution to the scientific program to J.P. Kociolek via email (pkociolek@calacademy.org) no later than 1 June, 2007. Notification of support and amount will be made by 15 July, 2007.
Auction
To further build resources to support student participation in future symposia, there will be an auction of important, notable and/or potentially embarrassing materials, scientific and personal. These are in the process of being identified and assembled. Please contact Paula Furey ( pcfurey@bgsu.edu) with auction items (description and/or digital image; discretion not encouraged, except for items relating to the conveners).
