Resilience 2008

The international science and policy conference "Resilience 2008 - Resilience, Adaptation and Transformation in Turbulent Times" is held in Stockholm, Sweden, April 14-17 2008.

The aim is to bring together scientists working with the complex dynamics of interconnected social-ecological systems and to present, discuss, and if possible, summarise the current understanding of resilience, adaptability and pathways of transformation in such systems.

Among the guest speakers you will find B. Holling, E. Ostrom, S. Carpenter as keynote speakers but also B. Walker, C. Folke, K. Brown, T. Hughes, M. Scheffer and F. Westley as other key speakers.
