Manual de Ecologia Viral Aquática - Livro Gratúito da ASLO

A American Society of Limnology and Oceanography, responsável pela publicação do jornal Limnology & Oceanography, publicou seu primeiro e-book online. O livro "Manual de Ecologia Viral Aquática" (MAVE, sig;a em inglês) foi editado por Steven Wilhelm, Weinbauer Markus e Suttle Curtis. O livro contém 19 capítulos refletindo o estado-da-arte e opiniões sobre diferentes abordagens para o estudo da ecologia viral em sistemas aquáticos. Os temas abordados no livro vão desde a contagem de vírus até técnicas moleculares para o estudo de populações e comunidades de vírus. O conteúdo deste e-book foi escolhido em consulta com o grupo de trabalho sobre vírus marinhos do Scientific Committee for Oceanographic Research, e a publicação apoiada pela Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.
